I am delighted to share with you the news that the Irish Association for Play Therapy and Psychotherapy have had well-deserved and well-earned success in campaigning for the inclusion of IAPTP Accredited Members in the Counselling in Primary Schools Pilot Programme. Applications from IAPTP Accredited Psychotherapists with a specialisation in Play Therapy will now be accepted. I am so grateful for all of the work IAPTP have put in to make this happen. Today is a great day, congratulations to all involved in IAPTP! Thank you one and all.

I am proud to be a fully accredited member of IAPTP and proud that CTC’s MA Creative Psychotherapy and embedded Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy is currently the only IAPTP Approved Creative Psychotherapy and Play Therapy course in the country. Change is happening and we are part of the change! Hip hip hooray!!
