I hope you are keeping well. Like so many people around the world, all of us here at CTC are trying to figure out the best ways that we can support the people of Ukraine at this devastating time. In an attempt to raise much needed funds, we have decided to facilitate one of our most popular courses “The Power of Special Playtimes” and donate ALL the money generated from it to UNICEF Ireland to aid them in their work supporting the children of Ukraine. I will facilitate the course next Tuesday, 15th March, for the normal fee of €30. This €30 will be a direct donation to UNICEF. In order to make sure that the course fees go directly to the charity we have set up an idonate page for the charity training event. You simply donate the course fee on the page, include your email address, and you will receive a zoom link to attend the training next Tuesday. Please see full information and link to the charity page below. All support is very much appreciated. Please do share the event with as many people as you can. It is a great way to donate much needed funds whilst also getting to attend a very valuable training too!

The Power of Special Playtimes – Fundraising Training Event for Ukraine

Live Online Course Tues 15th March 2022, 7:30pm-9pm

This live online course will look at how we can make the most of a child’s most valuable toy, a willing adult. It is suitable for parents and carers and also for professionals working with children. The webinar will be facilitated by Siobhán Prendiville a highly experienced trainer and child and adolescent psychotherapists with a specialisation in play therapy. During the webinar we will:

- Learn about the relational benefits of play.
- Learn how to introduce, and experience play that will build healthy attachments and relationships.
- Learn how to set up special playtimes.
- Learn ways to maximise on the available time you have.
- Learn how to integrate play and focused attention in your day and schedule.
The course is designed to equip professionals, and parents and carers, with helpful tools for the children in their care. It is ideal for parents, teachers, ECCE professionals , youth workers, social care practitioners and other professionals working with children.
