It is suitable for parents and carers and also for professionals working with children. The webinar will be facilitated by a highly experienced child and adolescent psychotherapist with a specialisation in play therapy.
During the webinar we will:
- Learn about the how feelings are processed in the brain.
- Look at how to grow the child’s capacity to experience big feelings without experiencing overwhelm.
- Learn how to soothe and regulate the child while the big feelings are present.
- Learn how to support yourself in regulating the child.
The course is designed to equip professionals, and parents and carers, with helpful tools for the children in their care.
Participants are required to have the following tools.
Materials:
- Blank A4 Paper
- Colouring pencils/crayons/markers
- 2 Balloons
