New Project
Good afternoon,

I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well. I was recently contacted by Social Care Ireland – Professional Representative Body, they asked if we here at CTC could offer some words of support and encouragement, and also some creative self-care activities, for the thousands of dedicated social care workers across the country. Social Care professionals, like the other frontline heroes of this time, are continuing their incredible work with vulnerable children, teenagers and adults, during this pandemic. We at CTC are very grateful for their continued work. We are very happy to get involved in sharing our support and gratitude to all the frontline heroes working so hard during these difficult times. So myself, and some of our wonderful team, Edel Lawlor, Emer McDonagh, and Laura Coleman have created a series of short videos offering words of support and also creative activities that can be used by social care workers, and other frontline heroes, and indeed stay at home heroes, at this time. The creative activities are suitable for children, teenagers and adults. The videos will be posted on Social Care Ireland’s Facebook page (Social Care Ireland – Professional Representative Body), and I will share them to our Children’s Therapy Centre Facebook page too. The first video was posted yesterday. Click here to watch it. Please do follow along and like and share the videos. We are hoping to spread the support, gratitude and ideas as widely as possible. We will round up the series with a very special video from our wonderful team here at CTC!

Thank you to all of the heroes out there at this time, the dedicated Frontline Superheroes and also the incredible Stay at Home Superheroes. We really hope that the ideas will be beneficial for many of you.

Warmly,
Siobhán
