About The Training

This live online course will look at how living with Domestic Abuse impacts child development.  It is suitable for parents and carers and also for professionals working with children. The webinar will be facilitated by a highly experienced child and adolescent psychotherapists with a specialisation in play therapy.

During this innovative live online course participants will:

  • explore the impact of living with Domestic Abuse on development.
  • identify common coping strategies and skills used by children.
  • learn how to talk about the domestic abuse experience.
  • learn how to provide safe ways to give opportunities for revisiting affected developmental milestones.

This training is suitable for professionals working with children and/or teenagers. It is also suitable for parents and carers of children and/or teenagers, and anyone interested in play and creative therapeutic approaches.
