About The Training

This engaging workshop provides an interactive and reflective  space to explore the historical context and the changing neurodiversity paradigm which is the basis of neurodivergent-affirming practice. Participants will gain insights into the unique needs and strengths of neurodivergent individuals and explore ways to enhance and embrace a neurodivergent affirming practice across the lifespan.

  • Develop individualised exploration that incorporate a strength-based approach
  • Enhance communication and sensory integration strategies in therapy

Materials & Resources Needed
  • Notebook, pen and coloured pencils/pens/crayons
  • Access to a computer with a stable internet connection and confidentiality
  • Reflections on pre-assigned reading /video material
  • A candle and lighter
  • Group work will require video and audio to be On
  • Preferred Creative Material:  10 miniatures or random items from nature or household & Craft materials e.g.  Paper, pens, felt-tips, pencils, fabric, magazines, glue, scissors, clay, playdoh,
