About The Training

This live online course will look at how we can help adults to support children in their care who are experiencing big or overwhelming feelings. It is suitable for parents and carers and also for professionals working with children. The webinar will be facilitated by a highly experienced child and adolescent psychotherapist with a specialisation in play therapy.

This training is suitable for professionals working with children and/or teenagers. It is also suitable for parents and carers of children and/or teenagers, and anyone interested in play and creative therapeutic approaches.

  • Learn about the how feelings are processed in the brain.
  • Look at how to grow the child’s capacity to experience big feelings without experiencing overwhelm.
  • Learn how to soothe and regulate the child while the big feelings are present.
  • Learn how to support yourself in regulating the child.

Full fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellations within 14 days of the course. You can nominate another person to attend in your place.
