About The Training

This live online course dives into the power of play and how it can build and enhance a secure and playful attachment with your baby! The course focuses on the most important attachment and play material a baby could have – their caregivers face! This course is suitable for parent and carers and also for professionals working with parents and carers. The course will be facilitated by a highly experienced child and adolescent psychotherapists with a specialisation in play therapy.

  • Learn about the relational benefits of play, starting at the perinatal stage.
  • Learn how to offer brain building play opportunities in short bursts of time.
  • Learn how play overlaps with healthy attachment development
  • Learn to recognise some of the key stages of play development in babies and how this contributes to their wellbeing and yours.

The course is designed to equip parents and carers, and professionals working with parents and carers, with understanding about how easy and worthwhile it can be to insert more playfulness into the parent-child relationship and how this contributes so well to perinatal, infant and carer wellbeing and mental health.

This training is suitable for professionals working with children and/or teenagers. It is also suitable for parents and carers of children and/or teenagers, and anyone interested in play and creative therapeutic approaches.
