I have known Eileen Prendiville for the past 25 years and have been witness to her ongoing dedication in upholding high standards of teaching and practice in the field of psychotherapy and play therapy. I also personally know the work and teaching skills of Siobhan Prendiville, Maggie Fearn, Carol Duffy and Emer McDonagh – all of whom teach at the Children’s Therapy Centre. I cannot say enough about the creativity and expertise of this group of instructors.
Siobhan, now in the lead role at CTC, has seamlessly continued the work and dedication of Eileen. I have invited many of these instructors into the RMPTI teaching programs in Canada and I honor their work and teaching skills. We have formed a collaborative international teaching relationship that has benefited both the Irish and Canadian student experiences.
I feel fortunate to study with CTC instructors, Eileen, Siobhan and Maggie each year at the International Play Therapy Study Group at Wroxton College in the UK. They are each progressive, innovative thought leaders. It is rare to find a group of instructor/practitioners who can integrate theory and practice at an advanced level. They have certainly earned the respect of others and are rare jewels in our field of practice.
I support every part of the CTC’s work and would highly recommend their program to interested students.
